Tradition, quality, and innovation in stone masonry

Monolit Stone Masonry, a business specializing in stone processing, cutting, and shaping was founded in 1997 in Rijeka by the then-owner, civil engineer Marinko Čargonja. In 2002, the owner decided to invest in the construction of a new facility in Čavle, a suburb of Rijeka, where the business continues to operate today.

In 2018, the owner retired, and his wife, Emica Čargonja, M.Sc., became the new owner. She had been employed in the business since its inception, handling administrative and commercial responsibilities. The production facility is equipped with machinery for cutting all types of stone, granite, and marble.

The mission of the business is to produce and deliver high-quality products and services based on customer orders.

The vision of the business is to achieve higher quality in operations, products, and services through continued investment in new technologies, development, and employee growth, aiming to increase market share and expand the product range to new markets.

The goal is to gradually digitize the production process while preserving the traditional values of manual material processing and the uniqueness of certain product lines.
